FormHeartbeat

Know when a client’s contact form goes missing.

FormHeartbeat checks your clients’ WordPress contact pages from the outside and looks for the form. If it’s missing or the page won’t load on two checks in a row, you get an email. When it’s back, you get one recovery email. No dashboard to watch — just alerts in your inbox.

Each row is one contact page you send us. Every check ends in one of three states: OK (form found), FAIL (form missing, page error or unreachable) or UNVERIFIABLE (the page blocked our check, so we say so instead of guessing). A site can still load and look fine while its form is gone — nobody gets an error message.

01 — One night, as an example

The form went missing at night. The alert was waiting at breakfast.

  1. Check: dental-clinic.example/book — WPForms form found. OK.
  2. Check: page loads, but no contact form on it. FAIL (1 of 2 — no email yet).
  3. Next check: form still missing. FAIL (2 of 2) — alert email sent.
  4. You read the email and look into the page.
  5. Check: form present again. OK — one recovery email sent.

Illustrative example — times are invented and check timing is not guaranteed. FormHeartbeat only sees that the form was missing on a check and later present again. It doesn’t know why, and it doesn’t fix anything.

02 — Why agencies use it

Hear it from an alert, not from your client.

Keep the relationshipA broken form found by the client feels like neglect. Found by you, it's care.
Sell it in care plansA concrete line item for the WordPress maintenance you already offer.
Zero per-site setupNo plugin, no code, no test leads in client inboxes.
03 — What gets checked

We load the page like a visitor and look for the form.

Send us contact or quote page URLs. On a recurring schedule we load each one and look for your plugin's form markup. We never submit it. A single failed check doesn't alert; two in a row do, followed by one recovery email when the form is back.

04 — Honest limits

What it does. What it doesn't.

Does

  • Check each contact page loads and the form is present
  • Email you after 2 failed checks in a row, plus one recovery email
  • Avoid duplicate alerts for one ongoing problem
  • Flag pages it can't check as UNVERIFIABLE

Doesn't

  • Submit forms or create test leads
  • Verify submissions reach email, a CRM or a spreadsheet
  • Guarantee a fixed check interval or alert time in the pilot
  • Replace uptime monitoring or a full QA process
  • Provide a client-facing dashboard or status page
05 — Price

One plan. Free for the first 14 days.

$19per month · up to 10 client sites
  • 14-day pilot, no payment details
  • Continue only if you explicitly opt in
  • Email alerts + recovery notices
06 — Questions
Do I install anything on client sites?

No. Checks run from outside, the same way a visitor loads the page.

Will it send test submissions?

No. FormHeartbeat never submits forms, so it won't create fake leads or trigger client notifications.

How often are pages checked?

On a recurring schedule. During the pilot we don't promise a fixed interval or alert time; we'll share the actual check history with you.

What happens after 14 days?

We ask whether you want to continue at $19/month. If you don't reply or say no, monitoring stops and nothing is charged.

Is this an established product?

No — it's new, and we're running a small number of hand-set-up pilots with agencies.
